1. About SellDibo

SellDibo is an online marketplace designed to help people in Bangladesh discover, advertise, buy, and sell new, used, homemade, handmade, and other permitted products.

SellDibo provides the technology and marketplace platform that connects users. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SellDibo is not the buyer, seller, manufacturer, owner, or distributor of products advertised by users.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using SellDibo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use SellDibo.

3. User Accounts

Certain SellDibo features may require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your account.

• You must not impersonate another person or create an account using misleading information.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
• You should take reasonable steps to protect your login credentials.
• You must not use another person’s account without authorization.
• You should notify SellDibo if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Marketplace Listings

Users may publish advertisements for products permitted on SellDibo. When posting a listing, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

Listings should accurately represent the item being offered, including where applicable:

• Product title and description.
• Price and condition.
• Relevant category and location.
• Authentic and appropriate product images.
• Other information reasonably necessary for buyers to understand the offer.

5. Listing Review & Moderation

SellDibo may review advertisements before or after publication. We reserve the right to approve, reject, restrict, edit the visibility of, or remove listings that violate our policies, create safety concerns, appear fraudulent, contain misleading information, or are otherwise unsuitable for the marketplace.

Approval of a listing does not constitute an endorsement, certification, guarantee, or verification of the advertised product.

6. Prohibited Listings & Activities

You must not use SellDibo to advertise, promote, request, or facilitate:

• Illegal goods, services, or activities.
• Stolen property or goods that you are not authorized to sell.
• Counterfeit, fraudulent, or deliberately misrepresented products.
• Content that infringes intellectual property or other legal rights.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, spam, or deceptive schemes.
• Content or activity that threatens, harasses, exploits, or unlawfully discriminates against others.
• Any item or activity prohibited by applicable law or SellDibo marketplace policies.

SellDibo may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, the marketplace, or comply with applicable requirements.

7. Buying & Selling

Buyers and sellers are responsible for communicating with each other, evaluating products, agreeing on prices, arranging inspections, payment, delivery, collection, and completing transactions.

Users should exercise appropriate caution before sending money, sharing sensitive information, meeting another user, or completing a transaction.

8. Payments & Transactions Between Users

Unless SellDibo expressly introduces and identifies an official payment service, payments and transactions arranged between buyers and sellers take place independently between those users.

SellDibo is not responsible for privately arranged payments, deposits, delivery arrangements, product quality, warranties, refunds, or disputes between buyers and sellers.

9. Seller Verification

SellDibo may offer Seller Verification to improve marketplace trust. A verification badge indicates that certain information or documentation submitted by the account holder has been reviewed under SellDibo’s verification process.

Seller Verification does not guarantee a seller’s honesty, product quality, financial reliability, future conduct, or the safety of any transaction. Buyers must continue to exercise their own judgment and caution.

10. Business & Shop Profiles

Eligible users may create a business or shop profile on SellDibo. Business profile owners are responsible for ensuring that their business name, description, contact details, location, logo, advertisements, and other information are accurate and lawful.

The presence of a business or shop profile on SellDibo does not by itself mean that SellDibo endorses, licenses, certifies, or guarantees that business.

11. User Content

You retain responsibility for content you submit to SellDibo, including listing descriptions, photographs, business information, and other materials.

By submitting content for publication, you grant SellDibo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, display, format, resize, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve the marketplace and related SellDibo services.

You must have the necessary rights or permission to upload and publish content you submit.

12. Intellectual Property

SellDibo’s name, branding, logo, interface elements, original designs, software, and other proprietary materials may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, impersonate, misuse, reproduce, or commercially exploit SellDibo’s protected materials without appropriate authorization.

13. Marketplace Safety

Users are responsible for making informed decisions when interacting with other marketplace users. Where possible, inspect products before payment, verify relevant details, use safe meeting locations, and be cautious of unusual payment requests or offers that appear suspicious.

SellDibo may provide safety tools, moderation, reporting, or verification features, but these measures cannot eliminate every marketplace risk.

14. Reporting Content or Users

SellDibo may provide tools that allow users to report advertisements, suspicious activity, or policy violations.

We may review reports and take action when appropriate, but submission of a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.

15. Suspension, Restriction & Removal

SellDibo may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to certain features or accounts when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, abuse, security risks, repeated policy violations, unlawful activity, or misuse of the marketplace.

We may also remove or restrict content where necessary to protect users, comply with legal obligations, or maintain marketplace integrity.

16. Third-Party Services

SellDibo may use or link to third-party services such as authentication, analytics, hosting, communication, mapping, social media, or other technology providers.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies. SellDibo is not responsible for independent third-party services that we do not control.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

SellDibo is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that every listing is accurate, that every user is trustworthy, that every advertised product will remain available, or that the service will always operate without interruption or error.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SellDibo will not be responsible for losses or damages arising solely from transactions, communications, agreements, payments, deliveries, meetings, products, or disputes independently arranged between marketplace users.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

19. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using SellDibo, you acknowledge that your information may be handled as described there.

20. Account & Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of eligible account and personal information in accordance with SellDibo’s data deletion process.

21. Changes to SellDibo

SellDibo may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue marketplace features as the service develops. We may also update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, policies, security practices, or applicable requirements.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date may be changed accordingly.

Continued use of SellDibo after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

23. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of SellDibo are subject to the applicable laws of Bangladesh, without limiting any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
